Why Kör?
Kör means circle in Hungarian.
As a child, I spent time on my family’s small farm in Hungary, where they grew most of their own food—rich, nutrient-dense, and full of life. Their lifestyle was built on self-sufficiency, reverence for the land, and a quiet, meaningful rhythm. It showed me that true nourishment comes from connection: to the earth, to one another, and to ourselves.
The word Kör reflects the cycles of nature, the flow of movement, and the interconnectedness of human and planetary health. The circle is more than a shape—it’s a symbol of balance, integration, and wholeness. This is what I hope to offer you here.
Why the Little Frog?
In the evenings near my family’s farm, frogs would sing into the night—the chorus of croaks and ribbons of ribbits became one of my favorite sounds. Their presence became symbolic to me.
Frogs are indicators of a thriving ecosystem. When the environment is healthy, frogs flourish. They also embody transformation, resilience, and adaptability—qualities that mirror our own capability to heal and grow.
At Kör, the frog is more than a symbol. It’s a reminder of balance, metamorphosis, and the beauty of living in sync with the natural world.
